Elderly Hardwick resident robbed while asleep, police seek information

Hardwick police are asking for the public's help after an elderly resident was robbed during a break-in late on June 19.

According to the department, someone entered an occupied home in Hardwick village during the late night hours and stole various negotiable items and cash while the victim was asleep.

Police did not release the victim's name or the exact location of the residence. No arrests have been made.

Anyone with information about the burglary or other crimes in Hardwick is asked to contact the Hardwick Police Department at (802) 472-5475.

NEK will be looking into whether surveillance footage or other evidence has been collected from the area.
