Vermont State Police arrested a Newport woman on suspicion of driving under the influence after her vehicle left the roadway in Troy on July 13.
Troopers responded around 7:50 p.m. to a report of a car in a field off Loop Road. The driver, Desiree Cady, 43, showed signs of impairment and was taken into custody, according to a police statement.
Cady was issued a citation for first-offense DUI and released. She is set to appear in Orleans County criminal court on July 28 at 8:30 a.m.
