Vermont State Police arrested two Derby residents on suspicion of driving under the influence after a single-vehicle crash in Troy early on June 28.
Troopers responding to a report of a vehicle off the roadway near the intersection of East Hill Road and Searles Road found two vehicles. One was off the road, operated by Griffin Marquis, 20, of Derby. The other was on the roadway, operated by Cally Sanville, 19, of Derby. Both drivers showed signs of impairment and were taken into custody on suspicion of DUI.
Both were transported to the Derby barracks for processing and later released on citations to appear in court. Their court date is set for July 14 at 8:30 a.m. in Orleans Criminal Division.
