At approximately 8:33 PM, Vermont State Police were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in Derby. Initial reports indicate a female victim was outside the residence. At 8:46 PM, a second complainant helped separate the parties, but the female went to the end of the driveway and then returned, refusing to leave without animals. The homeowner refused to let her take them until law enforcement arrived. Officers advised all parties to remain separated.
