Police Respond to Incident in Derby

At approximately 11:10 PM, Vermont State Police were dispatched to a residence in Derby following reports of a female with black hair who ran inside a home. Responding units located the female, described as wearing black shorts, a camouflage tank top, and a camouflage sweatshirt. Officers determined that the female was known to the occupants, and a parent arrived at the scene shortly thereafter. The situation was ongoing late Tuesday night. No further details have been released.
