Eliska Siebenbrunner, a member of the Class of 2027 at Danville High School, has been named the recipient of the University of Vermont's 2026 Citizen Scholar Book Award. The award, which UVM described as one of the most competitive in its history, recognizes students who demonstrate both academic achievement and a commitment to serving their communities.

Siebenbrunner received an official letter of recognition and a copy of this year's selected book, "Motherland" by Maria Hummel. Recipients are also eligible for an application fee waiver to UVM.
