Actor Danny Glover, 79, has publicly revealed that he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease years ago. The disclosure came during an interview with TODAY that aired July 1.
Glover, best known for his roles in Lethal Weapon and The Color Purple, said of the diagnosis, “I could live with it, in a sense. I’m sure as it advances, things are going to be different and changing.” He also acknowledged support from his family.
Glover will celebrate his 80th birthday on July 22.
