On July 18, 2026, at approximately 3:50 p.m., Vermont State Police troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks located and arrested David Devaux, 73, of Corinth, on two outstanding in-state warrants. One warrant was for retail theft out of Orange County. The second was for criminal driving with a suspended license out of Windsor County.
Devaux was taken to the St. Johnsbury Barracks and later lodged at the Northeast Regional Correctional Complex in St. Johnsbury. He is scheduled to appear in Orange County Criminal Court and Windsor County Criminal Court on July 20, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. Bail was set at $200 for the Orange County charge and $50 for the Windsor County charge.
