Vermont State Police are investigating the death of a Corinth man who was reported missing and later found dead across the state line in New Hampshire.

Thomas Taylor Jr., 36, was reported missing at approximately 8:04 p.m. on June 24, 2026. He was last seen about 3 p.m. on June 23, 2026, at a residence on Chelsea Road in Corinth. Police described Taylor as 6 feet tall and 240 pounds.

Police said there were concerns for his well-being at the time he was reported missing. On the morning of June 25, 2026, Taylor was located deceased in Orford, New Hampshire.

Vermont State Police said further inquiries should be directed to the Orford Police Department.
