LYNDONVILLE - Champlain captured its fourth consecutive Vermont Little League 10-12 softball championship on July 10 at Fisher Field, defeating Connecticut Valley 2-0.

Pitcher Kinsley Winegar delivered a dominant performance, tossing a six-inning one-hitter with nine strikeouts. The 2-0 win sealed the title for Champlain, which has now won four straight state championships.

Connecticut Valley's offense struggled to solve Winegar, managing only a single hit and no runs. The game was a pitchers' duel, but Champlain's bats provided just enough support to secure the victory.
