Vermont State Police arrested a Bradford woman July 5 on charges of unlawful trespass and domestic assault following an incident on South Pleasant Street.
Troopers responded around 11:18 a.m. to a reported trespassing in progress, according to Trooper Rodzel of the St. Johnsbury Barracks. Police determined that Erin Thurston, 42, who is listed as homeless and from Bradford, had committed the offenses.
Thurston was taken into custody and processed at the Bradford Outpost before being lodged at the Northeast Correctional Complex in St. Johnsbury. Bail was set at $1,500 with conditions of release. She is scheduled to appear in Orange County Criminal Court on July 6 at 12:30 p.m.
As is routine, the Vermont State Police did not release the name of the alleged victim, citing domestic violence policies.
