At approximately 1:36 PM, St. Johnsbury Fire and Calex Ambulance were dispatched to the Welcome Center at 51 Depot Square in St. Johnsbury for a report of a female assault victim. Responding units were advised to stage until police secured the scene. Additional information is expected as the investigation continues.
