At approximately 1:46 AM, Vermont State Police responded to a report of an assault in the St. Johnsbury area. According to dispatch communications, officers removed an individual from the premises and transported them. At approximately 2:02 AM, dispatchers indicated that the individual would be charged with simple assault. Further details are pending.
