At approximately 1:05 AM, emergency responders were dispatched to 580 Countryland Drive in Haverhill for a 59-year-old male with difficulty breathing and a history of COPD. Initial reports indicate an assault was also in progress at the same location. The male was described as conscious and gasping for air, on home oxygen. Police and EMS staged at the scene. Children and dogs were present in the home but were reported safe.
At 1:23 AM, responding units reported that the scene had not yet been secured and additional officers were arriving. No further details are available at this time.
