Assault Victim Treated at Portland Street

At approximately 10:31 AM, emergency crews were dispatched to 501 Portland Street in St. Johnsbury for a woman who had been assaulted. Initial reports indicated a 58-year-old female may have been assaulted. Responding units found the woman with bruising, and she advised that she had been assaulted by her boyfriend previously. Calex Ambulance and St. Johnsbury Fire Department are on scene. No arrests have been reported at this time.
