White Mountains summer attractions offer new rides, discounted admission

New Hampshire's White Mountains region is rolling out new attractions and discounted admission options for the 2026 summer season, according to a recent feature by the Union Leader.

Story Land in Glen is adding new ticketed experiences including a Cinderella-themed interactive show and a breakfast with Daniel Tiger, along with the return of Turtle Twirl and Crazy Barn rides. The park is also offering TimeSaver line-skipping passes for the first time, starting at $49.99.

In Jefferson, Santa's Village is hosting Christmas-themed rollercoasters and a water park. Lincoln's Whale's Tale Waterpark is open with flowboarding lessons and discounted admission for visitors arriving after 2 p.m. ($29) and for residents within 30 miles on select weekdays.

Alpine Adventures in Lincoln offers zipline tours and off-road excursions. Clark's Bears in Lincoln continues its live bear shows, a tradition since 1949. The Conway Scenic Railroad runs Valley Train and Mountaineer excursions from its 1874 station, plus Murder on the Rails interactive mystery rides on select Saturdays.

Natural attractions include the Kancamagus Highway scenic drive, Crawford Notch State Park's Arethusa Falls hike (3 miles round trip), and the Mount Washington Auto Road. Gorham Moose Tours offers guided evening excursions ($35). Evening entertainment includes the Arts Jubilee Summer Concert Series at Cranmore Mountain Resort and the White Mountain Boogie & Blues Festival in Thornton.
