At approximately 8:22 PM, emergency responders were dispatched to 18 Mill Street in Littleton for a possible water rescue. Initial reports indicated a young boy was screaming on a rock in the river and a female was struggling to get out of the water. Littleton Fire and Twin State Fire responded with multiple units. At 8:25 PM, units reported a group of children swimming on scene with no one in distress. Responders stood by as a precaution. At approximately 8:30 PM, units confirmed there was no emergency. Firefighters spoke with the parents and the children, who were swimming safely. The scene was cleared. No injuries or distress were reported.
