At 6:00 PM, Littleton Fire was dispatched to the Franconia Inn at 1172 Easton Road in Franconia for a male who fell on a fence post. According to initial reports, the post had gone completely through his leg. Bystanders applied pressure with a towel while awaiting emergency responders. The incident took place near the tennis courts.
At 6:08 PM, first responders arrived on scene and found the patient conscious, breathing, and alert. A tourniquet had been applied. The fencing has been removed from the leg. The patient is being treated by ambulance crews.
