Vehicle Fire with Diesel Fuel Hazard in Waterford

At approximately 9:59 a.m. Tuesday, Waterford Fire Department was dispatched to a vehicle fire at 596 Crossroad in Waterford. According to initial reports, a truck was on fire with flames and smoke visible. The vehicle was reported to have approximately 100 gallons of diesel fuel in the bed. Mutual aid was requested from Concord Fire Department.

At 10:16 a.m., a unit requested state assistance. A command post was established at the scene. Firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze. By approximately 10:47 a.m., command reported that the incident was clear and operations were terminated. No injuries were reported.
