Newport Fire and Newport Ambulance responded to a single-vehicle crash into a ditch at 107 Landing Beach Street in Newport. At 5:53 PM, a male occupant was reported trapped inside the vehicle. Units including Newport Sun arrived on scene to assist. By 6:09 PM, the scene was cleared with no transport required, and all units returned to service. The extent of any injuries has not been confirmed.
