At 11:46 AM, Newport Fire and Ambulance were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of East Main Street and Newport Drive, near the entrance to Walmart in Newport. Initial reports indicate two patients and unknown hazards. Additional resources were requested, and emergency crews are on scene. More details will be provided as they become available.
