At approximately 10:24 PM, emergency responders were dispatched to a mental health call in Derby. Vermont State Police requested backup EMS for the incident, according to initial reports. At approximately 11:16 PM, the original complainant reported that the individual was sending messages stating they intended to kill themselves and crash their vehicle. The person was reportedly in the woods. Responding units are attempting to locate the individual. The condition of the individual involved has not been confirmed.
