Newport Fire Department units responded to a structure fire at 2155 Maple Street on Saturday evening. At 10:06 PM, a unit reported being on scene with a structure fire. Additional units were dispatched, and mutual aid was requested from the Derby Fire Department. Firefighters are currently working to contain the blaze. No injuries have been reported at this time.
