Newport City's annual Strawberry Festival kicked off summer on Saturday, June 22, drawing residents and visitors to celebrate the start of strawberry season. Talia Orrico, who splits her time between New York City and Newport City, was among the participants, posing with her pie entries during the event hosted by Vermont's North Country Chamber of Commerce.
The festival featured pie contests and other strawberry-themed attractions, marking a longstanding community tradition in the region.
