Psychic and holistic fair draws crowd in Newport City

A psychic and holistic fair drew attendees out of the rain and into the Newport City Municipal Building on Saturday. The event, organized by Amy Gillespie of the Witches Brew shop, featured 27 vendors offering a range of services and goods.

Gillespie said she holds about two such fairs each year. She described the gathering as an opportunity for unique vendors to connect and for the community to experience new things. “The event this year had 27 vendors, and there was a decent flow of attendees,” Gillespie said. She noted that the fair, now in its ninth edition, is developing a strong community of vendors.
