The Sterling College campus in Craftsbury Common is now on the market, less than a month after the private college closed following the spring 2026 semester. The 165-acre property includes academic buildings, student housing, and the school's farm.

The college, founded in 1958 as a boys' preparatory school, transitioned to a four-year environmental liberal arts college in 1974. It had announced earlier this year that it would close due to financial challenges.

The listing is being handled by VT Commercial. No asking price has been publicly disclosed.
