St. Johnsbury Academy senior Riley Copans has been named to the Vermont Ultimate All-State first team for the second consecutive year, the Vermont Youth Ultimate coaches' association announced. Teammate Wes Babcock earned second-team honors.

The Hilltoppers achieved a program milestone this spring, securing the No. 5 seed for the state tournament and reaching the semifinals for the first time in the school's seven-year varsity history. They fell to No. 9 Milton.

Champlain Valley, seeded second, won the boys' championship, while No. 2 Milton took the girls' title.
