On June 19 at approximately 6:37 PM, Vermont State Police responded to a domestic disturbance in St. Johnsbury. Investigation led to the arrest of Robbie Garand, 67, of St. Johnsbury, on charges of second-degree aggravated domestic assault and violation of conditions of release. Garand was taken into custody and processed at the St. Johnsbury Barracks. He was later issued a citation to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court, Criminal Division on June 22 at 12:30 PM and was lodged at Northeast Correctional Complex without bail.
