At approximately 3:40 AM, emergency responders were dispatched to a residence on River Road following a report of an intruder. According to initial reports, a bearded white male with a gray beard was described by a caller who was advised to keep his children safe. No weapon was seen. State police have been notified and are responding to the scene. Details are preliminary.
