At approximately 5:24 PM, St. Johnsbury Police responded to reports of an erratic driver on Railroad Street. Officers located a vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. A license plate check revealed North Carolina plates registered to a 2018 Honda Accord. The incident is ongoing.
According to dispatch reports, the driver reportedly flew out of a parking spot on Railroad Street in reverse and nearly hit another vehicle. Officers pursued and later stopped the vehicle on Memorial Drive. A plate check on the vehicle returned Vermont registration 8332369. No injuries have been reported.
