At approximately 1:32 PM, emergency responders were dispatched to a reported plane crash in the area of Vermont Route 5A and Milkisca South Trail in Westmore. Multiple agencies including Lyndon Rescue, East Burke Fire, Sutton Fire, Orleans Rescue, and Barnet Fire are responding. Initial reports indicate multiple patients and an iPhone signal detected at the scene. Manpower resources have been requested to assist in the search and rescue effort. The extent of injuries and number of people on board are unknown at this time. This is a developing situation and more details will be provided as they become available.
