At approximately 6:33 PM, Newport Ambulance was dispatched to 107 Lawson Road in Newport Center for a 59-year-old female who had overdosed. According to initial reports, two doses of Narcan were administered, and the patient is now semi-conscious. Newport Police arrived on scene at 6:45 PM. Further details are pending.
