The Northeast Kingdom Chamber of Commerce has released its summer 2026 guide, promoting events across Caledonia, Essex, and Orleans counties. The guide, authored by Chamber Director Loralee Tester, highlights recurring and special events from June through August.

In St. Johnsbury, Catamount Arts will host Sunday concerts at Dog Mountain throughout the summer. Final Fridays return once a month with art, music, and food downtown. The St. Johnsbury Country Club has new ownership and is reopening to the community. The NKHS Food Truck Pavilion at the Trailhead Pavilion will feature vendors including NEK Catering, The Ice Palace, Sour Bros, Lady Shay’s, Miracle Mary’s, Chez Poutine, and O’Crepe.

Newport’s Wednesdays on the Waterfront series runs by Lake Memphremagog. Sol Café is noted for its coffee. The Newport Strawberry Festival celebrates the season’s first sweet harvest.

In Burke and the Darling Hill area, Kingdom Trails remain open. The Wildflower Inn has added disc golf. The Burklyn Arts Festival and the Black River Grand Prix, a mass-start mountain bike race, are scheduled for June 20. Burke also holds its own strawberry festival.

Lyndon’s Stars and Stripes Parade continues its tradition. Island Pond’s Fourth of July celebration is expected to be notable this year. Hardwick’s Hardwick Hoopla offers a small-town summer event. Greensboro’s Highland Center for the Arts hosts performances and exhibits. Farmers markets operate weekly across all three counties.

The guide emphasizes that visitors often discover unexpected experiences, such as pizza at Tomassoni’s or breakfast at Three Branches Café.
