Deputies arrested Tannor Fortin, 28, of Newport Town on June 17 on charges including sexual assault, five counts of domestic assault, and four counts of cruelty to a child.
According to the Orleans County Sheriff’s Department, Deputy Cota took Fortin into custody and transported him to the station for processing. He was then lodged at Northern State Correctional Facility on $10,000 bail.
Fortin is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Orleans Criminal Division, on June 18 at 12:30 p.m.
