Newport Fire Clears Main Street Apartment Call

Newport Fire Department responded to 107 Main Street early Tuesday morning after EMS requested assistance gaining access to Apartment 302. According to first responders, the dispatch was received around 6:11 a.m. Fire crews were sent to help EMS enter the building and the apartment.

At approximately 6:31 a.m., crews reported that all individuals were safely located and the unit returned to service. The incident was cleared without further detail being released.
