At approximately 3:58 PM, St. Johnsbury Fire Department and Calex Ambulance were dispatched to a motorcycle versus guardrail crash at 108 River Road in St. Johnsbury. Initial reports indicated a male subject appeared to be in bad shape. Engine 3 responded, along with Calex units. At the scene, first responders found a motorcycle on the roadway but did not see the driver initially. A person was located and reported to be conscious and alert. Highline medics were staged and ready. At 4:35 PM, Engine 3 arrived at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital, transporting the patient. The unit closed out and was released from the call. The scene has been cleared.
