At approximately 1:16 PM, St. Johnsbury Police responded to a report of a missing elderly woman with dementia from a residence on Landers Drive. According to first responders, the woman, identified as a dementia patient, was last seen in her bed earlier this morning. A male resident returned home and discovered her missing. The woman is described as elderly and confused. Police have contacted friends and family, and a search is underway.
At approximately 1:19 PM, police confirmed that the missing woman has her cell phone with her. Police are working with the phone provider to try to locate her. The search continues.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact St. Johnsbury Police.
