At approximately 10:46 AM, Vermont State Police were dispatched to a mental health crisis on Chamberlain Hill Road in Albany. According to initial reports, a 34-year-old man is experiencing a mental health episode, yelling and throwing property around the residence and breaking items. An older man and an older woman are also present in the home. A family member who is not on scene reported the incident and expressed concern that the man may escalate further if he learns law enforcement is responding.

At around 11:22 AM, dispatchers reported that multiple attempts to contact the man have been made. He does not appear to be a threat to himself or others at this time. The complainant was advised that a response may not be forthcoming given the current situation.
