At 2:48 AM, Newport Ambulance was dispatched to 79 Indian Point Street for a female who was very hard to understand on the 9-1-1 call. The caller possibly stated she was having severe cramps in her legs. Units arrived on scene at approximately 2:59 AM and reported a Code 4 emergency situation. However, dispatch experienced confusion regarding the exact address, with references to both 79 and 279 Indian Point Street. After further investigation, Newport PD and ambulance units cleared the call and returned to service by 3:14 AM. No further details are available at this time.
