At 5:11 PM, Newport Ambulance was dispatched to 88 2nd Street, apartment 102 in Newport for a 77-year-old female with bites and rash on her skin, possibly infected. Initial reports indicate the rash may be infected. Police also responded to the scene. Further details are pending.
