At 9:07 AM, dispatchers received a report of a 79-year-old male who fell at 203 Main Street, Apartment 2 in Barton. According to first responders, the man was acting incoherently after the fall. Orleans Ambulance was dispatched and confirmed responding at 9:08 AM. At 9:27 AM, dispatchers requested a third Newport Ambulance with a paramedic to assist Orleans Ambulance at the scene for sedation of the patient. At 9:28 AM, a unit identified as B4-7 responded with a medic. Additionally, Vermont State Police were requested to respond to assist with removing the patient from the residence and ensuring transport. As of 9:31 AM, crews remained on scene.
