At approximately 1:00 PM, Newport Ambulance was dispatched to 102 Allendale Road in Newport for a medical emergency involving a 78-year-old female with dementia and possible aspiration. According to first responders, a home health nurse is on scene and reports the patient is mostly non-verbal. Initial reports indicate the patient may also have a urinary tract infection. Crews are evaluating the patient's condition.
