At approximately 8:03 AM, emergency crews were dispatched to 1282 Scott Highway in Groton, Vermont for an 89-year-old female experiencing difficulty breathing and possibly a heart attack. Woodsville Ambulance was called for backup, and Groton Fire Department personnel provided additional manpower. At 8:38 AM, Groton Rescue 1 was dispatched to the scene. At 8:39 AM, Ambulance 1 acknowledged the call. The status of the patient is not yet known. Further details are pending.
