At approximately 3:04 PM, Newport Ambulance and police were dispatched to 33 Maple Lane in Newport City for a 52-year-old female experiencing extreme pain and discomfort in her stomach. According to dispatch, the pain is not resolving with medication. The patient was reported to be in the dining room. Responding units arrived on scene at 3:06 PM. At 3:17 PM, emergency responders indicated they were preparing to clear the scene. Further details are pending.
