Medical Alarm at Governor Drive Was Accidental Activation

Newport Ambulance and police responded to a medical alarm at 54 Governor Drive, Apartment A4, in Newport City around 11:58 a.m. The alarm was triggered by a 76-year-old female resident. Dispatchers were initially unable to make voice contact, prompting a Code 3 emergency response. However, upon arrival, first responders determined the alarm was accidental and cleared the scene. Units were back in service by approximately 12:10 p.m.
