The MAC Center for the Arts will hold a live poetry reading on Sunday, April 10, from 1 to 3 p.m., in celebration of Poetry Month.
The free event will take place in the downstairs gallery at 158 Main Street in Newport. All original works by MAC members and the general public are welcome. Participants may present up to three poems, with a total time limit of five minutes.
Those interested in reading should email Dianne Laplante to reserve a time slot. Refreshments will be served, and the event is open to all.
