An Irasburg resident pressed the selectboard on public access to town information during a July 23 meeting, raising concerns about the lack of a municipal website and delays in posting meeting recordings.

Jessica Prue told board members that the town's current practices may not comply with Vermont's Open Meeting Law. She noted that a previous request to be notified of special meetings had not been fulfilled. The selectboard agreed to revisit the issues at a future meeting.

NEK will be looking into Irasburg's compliance with Vermont's Open Meeting Law and whether similar concerns exist in neighboring towns.
