Invasive species panel set for July 8 in Greensboro

The Greensboro Conservation Commission will hold a panel discussion on invasive species management on July 8 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the Greensboro United Church of Christ.

Will Marlier of the conservation commission will moderate. Speakers include Noah Hoffman of the Vermont Department of Parks, Forests and Recreation; Mike Bald, founder and owner of Got Weeds?; Stephanie Smith, deputy director of the Vermont Public Health and Agricultural Resource Management Division; and Jared Nunery, Orleans County forester.

The panel will cover different approaches to slowing the spread and limiting the impact of invasive species in the region.
