Hardwick woman cited for violating release conditions, taken to hospital

Hardwick Police responded to a report on July 4 of a woman behaving erratically at a storage facility on Vermont Route 14 South. Officers arrived at 154 Vermont Route 14 S. at 5:13 p.m. and met Casandra J. Rich, of Hardwick. Police said Rich told them she had consumed crack cocaine, which constituted a violation of her conditions of release.

Rich was cited to appear in the Caledonia unit of Vermont Superior Court for arraignment on the charge. She was taken by the Hardwick Rescue Squad to Copley Hospital for medical evaluation.
