The Town of Hardwick will hold its next Atkins Neighborhood Conversations event on June 22, featuring river scientist Shayne Jaquith leading a discussion on dredging and river dynamics. The talk begins at 6 p.m. at the Atkins Field Pavilion, located at 140 Granite St.
A community meal will be served starting at 5 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. It is part of an ongoing series hosted by the town in partnership with the Center for an Agricultural Economy.
No registration is required. Attendees are invited to bring questions about local waterways, sediment management, and flood resilience.
